Club Policies
A few rules that keep it lovely.
The club runs on common sense and mutual respect. These are the policies that keep the waterfront safe, the grounds quiet, and the courts fair for everyone.
Waterfront
- Swimming is restricted to the area between the club's docks.
- Running is not permitted on the docks. NO DIVING IS PERMITTED FROM ANY OF THE DOCKS.
- Parents must supervise their children at all times.
- The floating dock may only be accessed via its designated ladder.
Boating
- Member-owned powerboats must follow state regulations and carry approved life jackets for all passengers.
- A no-wake zone applies within 100 feet of the TLBC waterfront.
- Licensed operators under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at the dock.
- Club-owned kayaks and paddleboards require life vests and may not launch within the swimming area.
Grounds & House
- All children need supervision; those under 12 require an accompanying adult.
- Members must clean up after themselves.
- The clubhouse is to be used for quiet activities.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Underage alcohol consumption is forbidden, with parents held responsible.
Tennis
- Players must wear appropriate attire and non-marking shoes.
- Courts must be reserved using the club's online Court Reserve app.
- Members have a 10-minute grace period before forfeiting a reservation.
Bonfires
- Fires must be fully extinguished and the lid placed back on the fire bowl.
- Keep a water bucket nearby whenever a fire is lit.
Guests
- All non-members must be accompanied by a member.
- Guests are limited to three visits per season — family members are limited to five.
Phones & Devices
- Business use and extended calls are discouraged.
- Phone use is prohibited on the grounds except in the parking and upper-lawn areas.
WiFi
- WiFi is available via STARLINK (unsecured).
- Video streaming and downloading are not permitted.
Snack Bar
- Open daily June 5–September 2, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Card accounts only — no cash.
No Smoking
- Smoking and e-cigarettes are banned club-wide.
Membership
- Volunteer participation is expected; workday fees are assessed for non-attendance.
- Bills are due within 30 days.
- Leaves of absence are available for up to two years, with annual fees still required.
