Welcome
Not a resort. Not a country club. Yours.
The Twin Lakes Beach Club is a small, member-run summer club in Connecticut’s Northwest Corner. We don’t have a concierge or a uniformed staff — we have neighbors who pour the lemonade, line the courts, and host the cocktail parties. That’s what makes a summer here feel like a homecoming.
On the property
Everything a summer needs.
Swimming & Boating
A clean sandy beach, swim raft, and mooring docks on one of New England's most beautiful spring-fed lakes.
Tennis & Pickleball
Well-kept courts, member-run tournaments, junior clinics, and round-robins all summer long.
Snack Bar
Handcrafted burgers, farm-fresh salads, and ice cream — run by members, loved by kids.
Fire Pit & Grills
Two BBQs and a beachside fire pit for sunset cookouts, s'mores, and stargazing on the dock.
Family Programs
Children's activities, teen nights, and a summer rhythm built around bringing everyone together.
Member Events
Cocktail parties, karaoke, the annual Tennis Ball, and dozens of small gatherings hosted by members.
A Day at TLBC
Slow mornings. Long afternoons. A whole season of them.
The lake wakes up before everyone else. Coffee on the porch, kids paddling out before the first round-robin. By noon the grills are going and the courts are full. Stay through the sunset and you’ll catch the moment the sky pinks over the water — usually with a fire crackling and a few of your favorite people pulling up chairs.
Take what you want from a summer here. Give back what feels right. That’s the whole philosophy.

Since 1948
Built, burned, and rebuilt by the same families.
Our roots go back to a 1925 corn roast at Roraback’s tennis courts. The club survived two world wars, a midcentury slump, and an August night in 1990 when fire took the clubhouse to the ground.
The board met days later and decided what mattered wasn’t the building — it was the club. Members rebuilt within a year, opening the new clubhouse for the 1991 season, designed by a member.
That’s the spirit you’ll find on the property today.
